Computer aided optimization of machining parameters for single pass turning process

Abstract
An offline optimization model for single pass finishing and roughing operation of turning process is considered. The approach presented considers the most practical constraints, as well as can handle as many constraints as required. The mathematical model is formulated and solved by a combination of geometric and linear programming technique.
