Aims And Scope
The Journal of Immunology Research and Infectious Diseases (JIRID) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge in the fields of immunology and infectious diseases. JIRID provides a global platform for the dissemination of high-impact research that deepens our understanding of immune mechanisms, host-pathogen interactions, disease pathogenesis, and the development of novel diagnostics, vaccines, and therapies.
The journal aims to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration between immunologists, microbiologists, virologists, epidemiologists, and clinical researchers to address pressing global health challenges. JIRID welcomes both fundamental and translational research that contributes to improved prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious and immune-mediated diseases.
Scope includes but is not limited to:
- Innate and adaptive immunity
- Immunopathology and immune regulation
- Autoimmune and inflammatory diseases
- Vaccine research and development
- Immunotherapeutics and biologics
- Emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases
- Host-pathogen interactions and disease mechanisms
